Matt O’Callaghan and Raffaele Rocca talk Hurling, Camogie, Ladies Football and much more!

The duo dove into the weeks hurling, with both minor and U20 action taking place during the week. The Limerick U20 hurlers fell short to Cork by only two points in the Munster Championship final, while the minors also lost out to Cork by in their Munster Championship semi-final.

“I was hugely impressed with the two Cork teams that Limerick played during the week… Particularly I was very impressed by the Cork U20s side.

Matt O’Callaghan

They then touched on last weekends Camogie, Tipperary got the better of Limerick in their 2-21 to 1-11 game to send Limerick out of the championship.

“Very hard to asses the season again for Limerick, Limerick Camogie have made progress but so too have the teams around them, we still have a bit of a gap to close”

Raffaele Rocca

They look ahead to this weekend’s camogie action with both the seniors and juniors in action.

Also up for discussion is this Friday’s minor football semi-final as Limerick seek a first final berth since 1998 when they take on Clare.

This weekend’s All-Ireland hurling quarter-finals are previewed also as is Joe Canning’s retirement.
