WATCH: “Wow”- Graham Rowntree on Munster and Thomond Park

Last Saturday evening, new Munster defence coach Graham Rowntree got his first experience of Thomond Park in the Heineken Cup as Munster were held to a thrilling draw with Racing.

The experienced coach spoke about the decision to join the club ad also the atmosphere on Saturday night.

“It was a quick decision for me. As I said before, it just felt right. The warmth and the class of the people. It didn’t take me long to wonder over it and here I am.”

“Wow. It’s a special place. It was like nothing I had tasted before for a club game. It was like a test.”
