WATCH:Canny “We are very proud of this facility”

Aisling Annacotty Chairman Jim Canny says that the club are “very proud” of the new community centre complex built on the club grounds of Annacotty.

Canny announced ambitious plans in January which included the refurbishment of the existing grass pitch and the creation of new dressing rooms and a community centre for the region.

Speaking ahead of the club’s family fun day which includes a feature match between Aisling Annacotty and Liverpool legends, Canny admits that they couldn’t have dreamed of such a situation a few short years ago.

We are very proud of this facility and the work we have done on the pitch. We are really proud of all the work we have done over the last ten years including the astroturf pitch.

It’s part of a journey going forward that we have mapped out for ourselves. There will be more developments coming in the next three or four years across the club.
