“We are looking forward to the occasion” – Declan Nash

Limerick’s senior camogie side are in All-Ireland quarter final action on Saturday when they take on Tipperary at Semple Stadium at 5pm.

Declan Nash’s side have made big strides in 2019 by reaching this stage, but will not be content with their journey finishing here.

Limerick have wins over Offaly and Wexford under their belt in this year’s championship and Nash says that the more his team are exposed to top level play, the more they will improve.

“The two wins earlier in the group set us up excellently to have a go at two of the big three. Really good performance in Galway.

“Again, convert a couple of the goal chances you create and there is a different scoreline. Maybe sharpen up the conversion rate early in the game against Kilkenny and you are in with a shout for longer.

“To be exposed to that intensity, to be exposed to that level of cuteness to a certain extent, the more the girls are exposed to that , the better chance they have of competing.”
