Weekly Limerick Racing News with a weekend to remember for Enda Bolger

Limerick Racing News

Enda Bolger had a weekend to remember as he won cross-country chases at both Cheltenham and Punchestown in less than 24 hours. Old favourite Josies Orders was the toast of the Irish at Cheltenham on Friday when battling well to deny Fact Of The Matter in the Glenfarclas Cross Country Handicap Chase. Mark Walsh was on board the 2/1 favourite which was winning his fourth race at the track.

Punchestown has been even kinder to Bolger and My Hometown was the all-the-way winner of the EMS Copier Risk Of Thunder Chase on Saturday. Donie McInerney was the man in the saddle on this occasion and he had a far easier time of it with the 9/2 chance scoring by all of 16 lengths. Both winners are owned by JP McManus.
