West Derby the pick of the bunch in the SFC | Friday Football Fixtures

There are nine games to look forward to this Friday, across the Senior, Intermediate and Premier Junior grades.

It will be a busy night of action with plenty of games across the top four tiers of the football championship taking place ahead of tomorrow’s All-Ireland semi-final.

Senior

Round Two of the SFC promises to be fiery on Friday night, with all but two teams in action. In group one there is a clash between round one winners St Kieran’s and Newcastle West, in what will be a replay of the League final. Fellow round one winners Kildimo Pallaskenry will look to continue their strong start as they take on Oola.

In the other group, Na Piarsaigh and Adare meet in Mungret as both sides look to keep their 100% records intact. Ballysteen, who lost their first round fixture, take on Galtee Gaels who were round one winners. Ballylanders will also meet Monaleen, with both seeking a first win of the campaign.

Intermediate

There is one Intermediate game on Friday evening, as Glin meet Gerald Griffins, with the latter being heavily favoured to add to their winning championship start.

Premier Junior

There is a trio of games to look forward to in the PJFC, as Ballybrown face Bruff, both teams having lost their opening round fixture. Elsewhere, Athea and Cappamore meet, the pair also lost their first round games, and round one winners Feenagh Kilmeedy clash with Cappagh, who drew with Newcastle West last time out.
