What They’ve Won | Latest Munster success adds to burgeoning collection of accolades for Kiely’s Limerick team

The accolades continue to stack up for John Kiely’s all-conquering team

Sunday’s Munster final victory made it five provincial titles for Nickie Quaid, Declan Hannon and Graeme Mulcahy as they joined an illustrious group of Limerick men on that total.

Few would bet against those adding to that number in the coming years.

However, for every other member of the starting team from the clash against Clare, it was a fourth Munster medal on the trot with Limerick in an unprecedented era of success.

Cathal O’Neill is the outlier with the 20-year-old already on a pair of Munster titles.

The collection of accolades accumulated by the current Limerick side is staggering as each continue to add to burgeoning collection with an All-Ireland semi-final to come.

Adam English and Ciaran Barry were the latest to earn Munster medals as the matchday squad from Thurles are just three shy of 100 provincial titles between them.

Missing from the list below are Cian Lynch and Peter Casey who between them have 53 honours between club and country ranging from team to individual.

Below we look at the already storied careers of the 2022 Munster final matchday squad with an array of silverware between them.
