Extra seats added to RDS for Pro 14 semi-final clash between Munster and Leinster

Extra seats added to RDS for Pro 14 semi-finalclash between Munster and Leinster

Ahead of the highly-anticipated Pro 14 semi-final meeting between Munster and Leinster, it has been announced that an extra 630 seats will be installed to the RDS prior to the game. The extra seating brings the overall capacity of the stadium to just below 19,000.

Kevin Quinn, Leinster Rugby’s Head of Commercial & Marketing, is expecting a big crowd for the game, resulting in the decision to input extra seats.

“As expected the demand for this game from our Season Ticket Holders and wider supporter base has been huge and we were keen to meet that demand as best we could,”

“We have seen how special a place the RDS can be for games like these and in particular for interprovincial games and we were keen that we accommodated as many supporters as possible and in doing so, help make the RDS a cauldron of noise for Leo and the team.”

Glasgow Warriors take on defending champions the Scarlets in the other semi-final. Leinster could enter the game as European champions as they take on Racing 92 in the Champions Cup final this weekend in Bilbao.
