Times and Dates for Limerick football finals comfirmed

The times, dates and venues for the Limerick Senior, Intermediate and Junior football finals have been confirmed by Limerick GAA at the latest CCC meeting on Sunday last. The Junior final will act as a curtain raiser for the senior final while the Intermediate final will be played two days later.

Next Sunday Kildimo-Pallaskenry face Cappamore in the junior final in Newcastle West at 1pm. Kildimo will be looking to earn promotion to the Intermediate grade after winning the Junior B title as recently as 2014. For Cappamore they will be looking to bounce back into the second tier after being relegated to Junior A last year.

Sundays main event sees the meeting of Adare and Ballylanders in the Senior Championship final at 3pm. Adare will be looking to retain the title they first won twelve months ago. Ballylanders were champions in 2014 and were highly impressive in their semi final victory over Newcastle West.

The Intermediate final takes place next Tuesday at the Gaelic Grounds at 7.30pm with Extra-Time if needed. Rathkeale will be keen to regain senior status after suffering relegation in 2017 but face a tough Galbally side who are looking to earn promotion back to senior for the first time since 2014.
