Limerick pointed their way to a historic 0-27 to 1-22 win over Kilkenny today at Semple Stadium and set up and All Ireland semi final against Munster rivals Cork on Sunday July 29th.

Richie Hogan struck for a Kilkenny goal late in the second half to give the cats a two point lead but Limerick responded with points from Tom Morrissey, Peter Casey and Shane Dowling restored Limerick’s lead and they would eventually go on to win by two points.
