WATCH: Shane O’Neill – “If we’re right, we’re very hard to beat”

Na Piarsaigh manager, Shane O’Neill insists that his side’s focus will be on their own performance ahead of their All Ireland Final clash with Cuala.

“We tend to concentrate a lot on ourselves, to make sure we perform which works for us… If we’re right, we’re very hard to beat.”

“We all have our own flaws… I’m sure their management is looking at our flaws and how they can exploit them.”

With both teams having won the last two All Ireland Finals, neither lack experience at GAA HQ.

“Cuala and ourselves over the last few years have obviously played and won in Croke Park. I think the pitch will suit both teams because they are two sets of really quality players, skilful players.”

Con O’Callaghan has been highlighted as the danger man for Cuala but O’Neill says that threats will lie all over the pitch.

“While the media focus will definitely be on Con, it’s the way they perform throughout the whole team and as a team that’s most impressive”.
