3Dental Senior Championship takes shape as knockout lineup confirmed

Ballylanders top group one and Oola the other, with the pair going straight into the semi-finals.

The LGFA 3Dental Senior Championship has become a lot clearer following the latest round of fixtures, which saw wins for Ballylanders and Monagea, among others.

With the group phase now over, we know that Ballylanders top group one and Oola top group two, with the pair going straight into the semi-finals.

Defending champions Monagea picked up a victory over Feohanagh Catlemahon in the latest round but they missed out on top spot to the South outfit on points differential. They must now try to navigate a quarter final where they will meet either Drom/Broadford or Feohanagh Castlemahon.

Old Mill lost out to Ballylanders by eight points, and will play in a quarter-final themselves, meeting St Ailbe’s on September 17, after last year’s finalists defeated Dromcollogher Broadford at the weekend.

It has been a highly entertaining group stage but with the championship now entering the knockout phase, who will be the last team remaining.

Senior Quarter-Finals: Sunday, 17 September at 4.30 pm (Venues to be confirmed):

– QF1: Monagea v Drom/Broadford or Feohanagh/Castlemahon

– QF2: St Ailbes v Old Mill

Senior Semi-Finals: Sunday, 24 September at 4.30 pm (Venues to be confirmed):

– SF1: Ballylanders v Winners of QF2

– SF2: Oola v Winners of QF1

Senior Final: Sunday, 8 October (Time and Venue to be confirmed):

– Winners of SF1 V Winners of SF2
