LISTEN – Billy Lee looking to claim first points of campaign away to London

The Limerick senior footballers travel to London in search of their first league win this Sunday and manager Billy Lee is hoping that his young side can come away with their first points of the Division 4 campaign.

“It’s very challenging at this level, much beyond what people might think it is. We’ve got to be patient and continue to challenge and get them to believe in themselves. Hopefully in the not too distant future i.e. on Sunday, we’ll get our first few points in the door.”

London claimed a confidence boosting win over Wicklow last week and Lee says he’s expecting a tough challenge from the Exiles and knows that the Ciaran Deely managed side will be well organised.

“Their manager is well organised he’s highly respected at our level. He’s got a lot of knowledge on how to prepare a team, he’s working with Queens Park Rangers Football Club so he’s got a lot of those lads in around him so they will be well organised.”
