A total of € 1,502,762 will be made available for 2019 Sports Capital Grants in the county it has been announced.
The funding will benefit 47 clubs and facilities.
Askeaton GAA club have received the largest funding for a GAA team, receiving €92,212 for the improvement and development of their GAA facilities.
Giln Rovers Soccer Club received €55,786 which was the largest among soccer teams.
That money is to be used for the development of a new training pitch and facilities.
