Thomond Park is one of the most well known stadiums worldwide, home to two time European Heineken Cup Champions Munster.
The iconic stadium has played host to many memorable moments, notably the 1978 defeat of New Zealand while Munster went 12 years unbeaten at the ground in Europe.
It underwent redevelopment in 2007 which was concluded in time for the 2008 season with a capacity of 26,000.
It is the second largest non-GAA stadium in the country behind the Aviva.
With the stadium located in Limerick City, George Lee and Matthew Potter, curator of Limerick Museum discussed its storied history.
