In the quarter final in Dublin, the home side proved too strong with a 102-73 win to end the Sport Eagles season. That win booked a last four tie for Malahide who were joined their by UCC Demons, IT Carlow and EJ Sligo All-Stars.

UCC were victorious over Malahide to seal their place in the final where they will be joined by EJ Sligo All-Stars who defeated IT Carlow. Both sides are assured of promotion regardless of the outcome of the final.

A disappointing end to a promising season for both sides who will be keen to build looking ahead to the return later this year.
