Jimmy Lee’s side won all five games in group one after their final day victory over Fr Caseys.
The odds for the remaining six sides in the Limerick Senior Football Championship have been released with 2021 champions Newcastle West the favourites to retain their title.
The side are yet to drop points in the 2022 championship, although they were pushed close by Fr. Casey’s in round five. However, NCW prevailed, and with that secured a semi-final spot and have been priced at even odds to win a sixth title.
Adare, who were the 2021 finalists that fell to defeat against NCW, also remained flawless throughout group two as they maintained a perfect record. They’ve been priced at 11/4 to take the crown off the side that shattered their hopes of making it back-to-back titles last year.
Fr. Casey’s suffered their first defeat of the campaign in the final round against NCW and have looked a serious threat to their throne. The side have been priced at 4/1 to claim their first title since 2006.
St. Kieran’s, who finished second in group two, also fell to defeat for the first time in the last round against Adare and are 10/1 to claim their fourth title in their history.
Monaleen have been given the same odds as St. Kieran’s, who face each other in the one of the quarter-finals this Saturday. The side won three of their games with a final day rout against Claughaun earning them a place in the last six.
Kildimo-Pallaskenry, in their first Senior Football Championship campaign have been priced at 20/1 to shock the county. The side drew with Ballysteen on the final day, earning them a place in the quarter-finals via scoring difference.
The quarter-finals will be played this Saturday October 1st.
