Kilmallock close in on the bookies favourites Na Piarsaigh | SHC Odds

The bookies favourites meet in round five where Kilmallock are already assured of their semi-final spot and Na Piarsaigh will join them there with a win

Following a fourth successive win in the Limerick SHC, Kilmallock have seen their odds of winning the championship cut once again, falling from 7/2 into 3/1.

Still, it doesn’t make them favourites with the defending champions Na Piarsaigh holding the mantle they have held since the beginning as they remain at 8/11.

They meet in the final round of the championship where the winner will top the group. Kilmallock are already assured of their semi-final spot and Na Piarsaigh will join them there with a win.

There is little movement elsewhere with Patrickswell 9/2 and Doon 9/1 remaining the closest challengers according to the bookmakers.

During the fourth round, Kildimo Pallaskenry, Monaleen and Garryspillane saw their chances of winning the championship end with the former relegated to group two for next year.

With just eight teams remaining in the hunt for the Daly Cup, Ballybrown are the next best priced outside the big four and can be got at 33/1. Mungret St Pauls, despite booking their place in the quarters remain at 40/1, the same price as Ahane who’s price increases.

Adare are the championship outsiders heading into the final round of the group at 150/1.

That concluding round throws in the weekend of September 23/24.
