Former All-Ireland winner Shane Dowling has been revealed as the new manager of the Limerick Minor Hurlers for next season.
The Caherdavin native replaces Evan Loftus who moves into the U20 role in the place of Diarmuid Mullins.
Dowling won an All-Ireland with Limerick in 2018 where he scored their third goal en route to ending a 45-year wait for Liam MacCarthy honours. However, he was forced to retire a couple of years later owning to injuries.
He made a return to the club game last year, helping Na Piarsaigh to the Intermediate title and is currently first choice for the senior side.
Last year, the Limerick minors reached the Munster semi-final under Loftus where they were beating by the eventual All-Ireland champions Clare.
