League of Ireland fixtures announced for 2024

The men’s side kick off the season at home to Cobh Ramblers while the women’s team are at home to DLR Waves.

The fixtures have been announced for the 2024 League of Ireland First Division, as well as the 2024 Women’s Premier Division, with both side’s kicking off their campaign at the Markets Field.

Tommy Barrett’s side are coming off the back of a disappointing season in which they finished 6th, missing out on the coveted playoff spots by three points.

The women’s side finished 10th last year in just their second competitive season, but have recently appointed Dominic Foley as new manager, ahead of an exciting future under new ownership.

Men’s

Barrett’s men get the ball rolling at home to Cobh Ramblers on February 16th, who made last season’s playoffs, but lost to eventual winners Waterford.

The Shannonsiders then travel to the capital to take on UCD, who have been relegated to the First Division for 2024.

Cork City, who join UCD as a relegated side, visit the Markets Field on March 22nd for what promises to be one of the toughest games of the season for Barrett and co.

Treaty finish their season on October 18th with a long-haul journey to Donegal to take on Finn Harps at Finn Park.

Women’s

New women’s manager Foley gets his tenure underway at home to DLR Waves on March 16th, as the women’s side look to improve upon last season’s 10th place finish.

They have made a number of exciting new signings, including Australian international Eliza Campbell. The club has also welcomed back several players, ahead of what promises to be a very exciting new era.
