Treaty United welcome Wexford FC for First Division showdown

You have to go back to April 2022 for Treaty’s last win over Friday night’s opponents, a 2-1 victory at the Markets Field.

Treaty United welcome Wexford FC to the Markets Field in the League of Ireland First Division at 7:45pm this Friday night, as they look to pick up their first victory in ten games.

The sides met in April, when a Yoyo Mahdy brace looked to have completed a comeback for the Shannonsiders, before Cian Curtis’ late winner broke Treaty hearts in Ferrycarrig Park.

That result is just one of United’s seven losses in their last ten, a period that has seen them slip to eighth place, nine points off the promotion playoffs.

Wexford come into Friday night’s clash unbeaten in three, and they are just one point off the playoff spots in sixth.

You have to go back to April 2022 for Treaty’s last win over Friday night’s opponents, a 2-1 victory at the Markets Field.

That season when visiting Ferrycarrig Park, the Shannonsiders came away with a massive 5-1 victory.
