John Kiely names Limerick team for Cork clash | TEAM NEWS

Gearoid Hegarty and Tom Morrissey assume their familiar half-forward roles, with Seamus Flanagan named at full-forward.

John Kiely has named his Limerick side to take on Cork in the third round of the Munster Hurling Championship on Saturday at 7pm in SuperValu Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

The Shannonsiders won their opening game against Clare in Ennis, before backing that up with a victory over Tipperary last time out.

Kiely has been forced to make change to the team that started against the Premier, with Seamus Flanagan coming in for Peter Casey, who suffered that horrific ankle break.

Declan Hannon captains the side from centre-back, with Cian Lynch joining Will O’Donoghue in the middle of the park. Darragh O’Donovan misses out through injury once more.

Nickie Quaid starts in goal, with Barry Nash and Sean Finn joining Dan Morrissey in the full-back line.

Hannon is named at six, flanked by Diarmaid Byrnes and Kyle Hayes.

Lynch partners O’Donoghue in midfield, with David Reidy named at centre-forward. Gearoid Hegarty and Tom Morrissey assume their familiar half-forward roles, with Seamus Flanagan named at full-forward.

Aaron Gillane brings immense threat from the corner. Cathal O’Neill, who has been playing further out the field, is named at 15 for this one.
