Treaty United 11 games without a win after Wexford FC draw | HIGHLIGHTS

Byrne looked to have won it four minutes from time, the Treaty faithful elated at the prospect of snapping what was a torrid 10 game winless run.

Treaty United made it 11 League of Ireland First Division games without a win on Friday night, as they played out a 2-2 draw at home to Wexford FC.

A 97th minute strike from Kaylem Harnett earned the away side a point, on a night where Mark Byrne’s late goal looked to have won it for the hosts in the Markets Field.

The result leaves Treaty eight points off the playoff positions in eighth. Wexford are sixth, eight points clear of Treaty and 14 removed from leaders Cork City.

The Shannonsiders have lost seven of their last nine First Division games, and are winless in 11. Their last victory came away to Kerry FC on March 1 and they have managed just three goals in their last five games.
