Ambrose, Lee and Murphy in Division 4 Team of the Year

The Limerick trio join six Carlow representatives in the side, alongside a Leitrim trio and a Fermanagh pair. Sinéad McGettigan is the sole Wicklow inclusion.

Limerick’s Yvonne Lee, Róisín Ambrose and Deborah Murphy have all been named on the 2024 Lidl National Football Leagues Division 4 Team of the Year.

Joint captains Ambrose and Lee enjoyed fine league campaigns, in which Limerick finished runners up, while Murphy was a constant threat in the forwards for Sean Kiely and Mike Quilligan.

Among Carlow’s six is captain Ruth Bermingham and Final Player of the Match, Clíodhna Ní Shé, who put on a stunning display in their win over Limerick.
