Joy Neville will make her Guinness Pro 14 debut when she takes charge of Ulster’s clash with the Southern Kings on Friday night and will again make history as the first female official to take charge of a game in the tournament.

The 34-year-old’s reputation as an official is on the rise, she was named World Rugby Referee of the year for 2017 and has already made history by taking charge of the Challenge Cup game between Bordeaux-Bègles and Enisei-STM in December, prior to that she officiated the international meeting of clash of Norway and Denmark in October.
