AUDIO: Paul O’Connor reflects on Limerick FC’s season thus far

Last night Limerick picked up a valuable point away to Derry City in their re fixtured clash. Shane Duggan put the visitors ahead with a classy finish within the opening 12 minutes. The Limerick defence stood resolute but could do nothing to stop a beautiful Barry McNamee from levelling the game in the 60th minute.

The result leaves Limerick in 4th place, six points behind Bray in third. Derry lie one point behind Limerick but with a game in hand. Nonetheless, Limerick will be very happy with their position as they have gone four games unbeaten in the League since Willie Boland was appointed interim Manager.

After the game, Limerick FC midfielder Paul O’Connor spoke about the clubs season thus far, reflecting how much they have improved over the past couple of weeks.
