Carbery back in training as Munster issue squad update ahead of Benetton

In some welcome news to Munster and Ireland supporters, Joey Carbery took part in some elements of training at the HPC today where the next stage of his rehabilitation from an ankle injury will see the out-half manage his training load.

It is a boost to the Munster side who lost out to Interprovincial rivals Leinster at the weekend.

Carbery last appeared for the province in the defeat to Ulster on 3 January 2020.
