Conway ruled out of Barbarians clash and is set to miss early rounds of the URC

It is another injury blow for Conway who missed the entirety of Munster’s URC winning season last year.

The Munster Rugby men’s and women’s squads are preparing for Saturday’s double-header against Barbarians at Thomond Park.

The Munster Women kick-off at 2pm with the Munster Men facing the Barbarians for the first time at 4.30pm.

Match tickets are available here.

On the injury front, Andrew Conway has been ruled out due to a hand injury but is expected to return during the early rounds of the URC campaign.

For the women, Deirbhile Nic a Bháird is unavailable due to a knock picked up in an Ireland training game at the weekend.

Eimear Considine and Nicole Cronin will also miss out due to injury.
