The sides will meet for a place in the Premier Intermediate ranks next month.
Croagh Kilfinny and Na Piarsaigh will face off in the Limerick Intermediate Hurling Championship final after both progressed to the decider with 100% records.
On Sunday, Croagh Kilfinny defeated Pallasgreen 1-21 to 0-12 while Na Piarsaigh just outlasted Granagh Ballingarry 0-17 to 0-16.
In the first of the afternoon’s games, Na Piarsaigh held off a late Granagh Ballingarry fightback to earn a place in the final after falling to defeat at the same stage in 2020.
The Caherdavin side were 0-9 to 0-5 to the good at the interval and raced eight clear five minutes after the restart.
But seven of the next nine scores came from the West outfit as they reduced the margin to a single score with fifteen to play.
In injury time, GB came within a point but Na Piarsaigh found the insurance score in the 64th minute with Granagh Ballingarry’s last minute effort not enough with the City side booking their final place.
Croagh Kilfinny sealed their return to the final with a comprehensive win over Pallasgreen in Ballyagran.
A dominant opening fifteen set the foundations for a comfortable win with Cian O’Carroll’s goal helping them into a 1-7 to 0-1 lead.
Pallasgreen did battle back into the contest but there was still six between the teams at the turn of ends.
With a quarter of an hour to play CK had re-established their nine point advantage as they cruised to victory as they seek to go one better than 2021 where they were bested by Effin.
In 2020 Na Piarsaigh were beaten by Newcastle West after extra-time in the decider as they bid to become the first Limerick side to have teams operating in the Senior and Premier Intermediate Championship simultaneously.
Their senior team will contest for the Daly Cup against Kilmallock this Sunday with the fixture for the Intermediate final yet to be confirmed.
