Fixtures announced for 2025 Lions tour of Australia

The nine-game tour will feature Tests against Australia in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, while there is also a fixture scheduled against a combined Australia and New Zealand team.

The British and Irish Lions will embark on a nine game tour to Australia in 2025, it has been announced, featuring a potential sell-out crowd of 100,000 for the second Test against the Wallabies.

The nine-game tour will feature Tests against Australia in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, while there is also a fixture scheduled against a combined Australia and New Zealand team on July 12.

The remaining tour games will be against Australian Super Rugby Pacific teams.

It will be the first time the Lions have toured Australia since 2013, when Warren Gatland was head coach of the side. On that occasion, the European side picked up a first series win in sixteen years.

Akin to 2013, the Lions will begin the tour in Perth, against the Western Force, before facing the Queensland Reds, the NSW Waratahs, and the ACT Brumbies.
