Fixtures confirmed for Munster’s 2023/24 Champions Cup campaign

Both home games at Thomond Park will be 5.30pm Saturday evening kick-offs.

EPCR have confirmed the Champions Cup Pool fixtures for the 2023/24 season with Munster to host Bayonne and Northampton Saints at Thomond Park with away games against former winners Toulon and Exeter Chiefs in Pool 3.

Munster’s campaign will kick-off with a first-ever meeting against Bayonne (Aviron Bayonnais) in Limerick on Saturday, December 9 (5.30pm).

They travel to Devon the following weekend for a clash against 2020 champions Exeter Chiefs on Sunday, December 17, with a 1pm kick-off.

Munster will face three-time winners Toulon at Stade Félix Mayol on Saturday, January 13, at 4.15pm local time/3.15pm Irish time. It will be Munster’s first visit to the venue since January 2011 when Toulon won 32-16 to knock Munster out of the competition at the Pool stage.

Graham Rowntree’s sides final Pool 3 game will be at Thomond Park against Northampton Saints on Saturday, January 20, at 5.30pm.

The four highest-ranked clubs from each of the pools will qualify for the knockout stage.
