Football Championship Final Round Fixtures confirmed

There are a pair of knockout berths in the senior championship left while the relegation play-off contenders will also be confirmed.

The final round of fixtures in the Limerick Football Championships have been confirmed for this weekend with the remaining knockout berths to be filled.

In the senior tier, Newcastle West are already assured of their semi-final berth but face Oola who aren’t out of relegation danger. St Kierans and Claughaun do battle in a game that has huge relegation implications while the meeting of KP and Caseys will decide who finishes 2nd and 3rd in the group.

In the other group, Adare and Ballylanders meet on Tuesday evening in their rescheduled clash. Regardless of the outcome there, Na Piarsaigh know a win over the South team will see them into the quarters with Monaleen, who play Galtee Gaels, already in the last six. Ballysteen, who aren’t out of the running take on Adare, who could already be qualified for the semi finals if they win on Tuesday.

In the Intermediate Championship, St Senans and St Patricks square off in an interesting tie where the winners will top their group.
