Gatland axes OMahony as Lions name match day 23 for second test

Mixed news for Munster players on the Lions tour as last week’s captain Peter O’Mahony has been dropped from the match day squad for the second test in Wellington while CJ Stander has been rewarded for his hard work with a place amongst the replacements.

Conor Murray will partner Leinster’s Jonathan Sexton in the half back combination with Tadhg Furlong and Sean O’Brien making up the last of the Irish contingent.
