The result leaves the Limerick outfit five points behind fifth placed Bray who occupy that final play-off position in the table.
Treaty United secured a share of the spoils on Friday night as their SSE Airtricity League First Division tie with Bray Wanderers ended all square.
Treaty’s top scorer Enda Curran was once more among the goals as he cancelled out Ben Feeny’s early strike in Garryowen.
The 1-1 result leaves the Limerick outfit five points behind fifth placed Bray who occupy that final play-off position in the table. They were incidentally leapfrogged by Athlone Town at the weekend as they beat Wexford FC 2-1 on Saturday.
In the Markets Field, a mix up in the defence allowed Bray in for a simple goal with Feeny rounding Shane Hallinhan in the Treaty net for a 1-0 lead inside five minutes.
However, Tommy Barrett’s men hit back just ten minutes later, Marc Ludden playing Curran in behind the defence as the sharpshooter chipped cooly into the empty Bray net.
Bray had a great chance to steal the spoils in the final minute but Hallihan stood tall to ensure the draw.
Up next for Treaty is a trip to Tralee to take on bottom placed Kerry FC this Friday evening.
