JP Ferriera arrives with a small few injury concerns ahead of Leinster tie

There are a number of knocks following the superb away win against Leicester last Sunday

JP Ferriera has arrived in Ireland and will begin his time with the Province this week ahead of the Leinster tie.

If selected for the St. Stephen’s day sellout, captain Peter O’Mahony will make his 100th appearance for the Province. And in further positive news for Munster fans, following on from O’Mahony’s new contract announcement last week, CJ Stander has today announced he has too signed a three year contract with his Munster and the IRFU.

The squad will return to the High Performance centre tomorrow in preparation for a busy festive season with Inter Provincial fixtures three match day’s in a row. Andrew Conway and Rhys Marshall will continue to follow their respective return to play protocol’s before taking part in on field whilst the same applies to James Cronin who continues to rehab his calf problem.

In further injury news, Gavin Coombes will continue his return to play protocols following a concussion suffered in the win against the Bedford Blues last weekend in the B&I cup.

Niall Scannell came through his appearance against the Tigers unscathed but Dave Kilcoyne (dead leg) and Alex Wooton (elbow) will be monitored by the medical staff this week following the memorable win.

Continuing to rehab: Tyler Bleyendaal (neck), Ronan O’Mahony (fibula), Gerbrandt Grobler (ankle), Conor Oliver (shoulder), Dan Goggin (knee), Dave O’Callaghan (knee), Jaco Taute (knee), Chris Farrell (knee).
