Lee names panel for 2019 season

Limerick senior football manager Billy Lee and his backroom team have finalised a 39-man squad for this season.

Among the players named is Ronan Lynch. The Na Piarsaigh clubman has two U-21 All-Ireland hurling medals but has been unable to force his way into John Kiely’s plans.

The squad has joint captains in 2019 – Donal O’Sullivan from Monaleen and Newcastle West’s Iain Corbett.

Lee has to plan without the likes of Danny Neville, Josh Ryan and Paul White and a number of other players from last season’s campaign.

County champions Adare have five on the panel, with Stephen Keeley joining club mates Paul Maher, Oran Collins, David Connolly and Davey Lyons.

Limerick open their 2019 Allianz Football League Division Four with a trip to London on January 26.
