Limerick Camogie Minor’s lock up place in Munster Championship Semi

The Limerick minor Camogie side have advanced to the Munster Championship semi-finals after a convincing win over Tipperary. The matchup finished 3-9 to 2-10 in Fedamore.

Limerick were firmly ahead thanks to an early free from Lizanna Boylan and goal from Laura Frawley within the opening minutes.

Boylan put in a massive shift in the first half as she helped Limerick by adding five points to the score board, along with Frawley and Lainey Stokes both getting it over the bar.

The half time score was a compelling 1-08 to 0-03 in favour of Limerick.

Tipperary hit back in the second half putting up 2-7, with Limerick finding themselves under pressure for the first time throughout the fixture.

Ciara O’Riordan remained focused as she found the goal twice while also defending against the attack focused Tipperary. O’Riordan’s two goals along with another point from Boylan helped seal Limerick’s semi-final admittance as well as the closing score of 3-9 to 2-10.

The Limerick Camogie minors answer for last years disappointment with a hard earned place in this years Munster Championship semi-final.
