Lee named his panel for the competition during the week, with nine of his Newcastlewest troops selected, alongside seven Adare men.
The most notable absentee from the panel is Hugh Bourke, the Adare man not present in the 35 named, his absence delivering a massive blow to Lee and Limerick football.
The squad was bolstered however, by the return of Ballysteen sharpshooter Danny Neville, as well as Gale Gaels man Tommie Childs, both players having left the panel in 2021.
Throw-in is at 12:30pm in Rathkeale this Sunday, as Lee and Limerick look to get their 2024 Allianz League campaign off to the perfect start.
