Limerick Ladies look to reach Div 1 Camogie Final

Limerick Ladies look to reach first ever Division 1 Camogie Final.

The Limerick Camogie team take on Cork in the Division 1 Semi Final this Sunday in Pairc Ui Rinn at 2pm. Whilst Limerick have reached the semi final stages for the past two years, they are yet to appear in the final of the competition.

Thus far Limerick have been impressive in Group 2 of the league. Their only reversal of the campaign came against Galway last weekend. However with both teams qualified for the penultimate round prior to the game, there was little on offer in this dead rubber. Limerick will be disappointed however to lose by 1-13 to 0-9 against the Tribeswomen.

Prior to the Galway game, Limerick had run out winners against Meath, Clare and Offaly in the opening rounds of the League.

Cork come into the match on the back of a very impressive group campaign. Cork won each of their 4 games, over coming Kilkenny, Tipperary, Wexford, Dublin and Waterford to secure top spot in Group 1.

Cork are looking to retain the title they last won in 2013 and will no doubt provide formidable opposition to the Limerick Ladies.

The reward for he winner will be a place in the final against the winner of Galway and Kilkenny which takes place this Sunday in Thurles at 4pm.

The price for the Limerick game are as follows;

Semi-Finals Ticket Prices:

Adult – €10

Student & OAPs – €8

Under 18s – €2

Under 12s – Free of Charge
