Limerick name team to face Wexford in National Football League

With promotion hopes dashed for the Limerick football team, pressure is somewhat removed from Billy Lee’s side as they prepare for their final brace of games in Divsion 4 of the National Football League.

Ahead of this Saturday’s trip to Wexford, Lee has named his side to face the Yellow Bellies.

Jim Liston gets his first start of the season at wing-back in the place of Colm MacSweeney who drops out of the matchday panel.

Monaleen’s Luke Murphy also gets his first start of the campaign at corner back with Paul Maher dropping out.

Mike Fitzgibbon starts at centre forward in the place of Fr Casey’s Adrian Enright.

Throw in at Wexford Innovate Park is 3pm this Saturday.
