Limerickman announced as Kildare Minor Hurling Manager

Eoin Stapleton, formerly of Garryspillane GAA has been announced as the new manager of the Kildare Minor Hurling team for the next two years.

Stapleton, who is currently a member of the Naas GAA club, won an All-Ireland U21 Hurling Championship in 1987 with Limerick, has been nominated for a two-year term after being involved in the management team for the past two years.

Stapleton will be joined on his management team by Pat O’Meara from Maynooth, Mairtin Boran from Naas and Noel Ryan from Cappawhite.

Stapleton and his management team have also worked with the development squads over the years.

Stapleton and his management team will go before the November County Board meeting for ratification.
