Eoin Corby of Limerick Swimming Club has qualified for today’s 100m breatstroke semi-final at the European Youth Olympics in Gyor.
The Ballybrown/Clarina native finished 16th in the preliminary rounds in 1:06.20 to qualify for the semis.

Eoin (15) who has just completed his junior cert, is part of a team of twelve swimmers representing Ireland at the games.
The teenager trains in UL with Limerick Swimming Club and the National Performance Centre Limerick, he learned his swimming with Seal Swimming Club before moving to LSC for compeitive swimming.
Corby has achieved numerous National titles in various events and has gold medals at the British Age Groups for the past two years.
