LISTEN: Byrnes not finished yet as Limerick “will try for more as a team”
Limerick made it the perfect 13 yesterday as they brought to a close a season that yielded Munster League, National League, Munster Championship and All-Ireland glory.
John Kiely’s side are the first team to have a 100% record in a season since the 1960’s and swashbuckling wing-back Diarmaid Byrnes says his side are far from finished.
“It’s just incredible. When you’re playing well you just want to go out and win everything you can and we have done that in every tournament. They are things we want to do and we will try for more as a team.”
Listen to the Patrickswell man in full after the triumph below.
