LISTEN: John Kiely on Limerick stepping up for Kilkenny challenge

Limerick head into an intriguing game with Kilkenny in Division 1A of the Allianz Hurling League with two wins from two under their belt.

The trip to Nowlan Park to take on the Cats is always a daunting one and Limerick manager John Kiely believe’s it will be no different this coming Sunday.

“We have had the two weeks off now since the last game so everyone is looking forward to the series of matches coming up at the weekend.

“For us, these games are the prize of having won 1B last year. Every team that goes to Nowlan Park knows exactly what to expect.

“It’s going to be a really tough day at the office. They are always very, very competitive.

“They work extremely hard and have a lot of new players again that are making significant progress at the moment. I’m sure it will be a really tough test for the guys on Sunday and we are really looking forward to it.”
