LISTEN: John Ryan keen to avoid complacency against Kilkenny

This weekend John Ryan’s Limerick Ladies footballers welcome Kilkenny to Askeaton knowing a victory will take them level on points with the National League leaders.

Promotion is well within their reach and Ryan is keen to avoid any complacency against a Kilkenny side who prop up the table.

“You can’t take your foot off the pedal. You have to prepare to take on every team and you have to give them respect.”

After the Kilkenny clash, Limerick travel to Derry before a clash with Leitrim.

Three wins from three will secure a semi-final berth and Ryan says his side are in championship mode with eyes firmly fixed on promotion

“So basically you’re in championship now for the final three games to try reach the semi-finals of the National League.”
