Earlier this week, the decision was made to cancel the 2020 All-Ireland Camogie Championship as the dates for the resumption of the season were announced.
The Senior championship will take place from October to December with a provincial minor championship to take place in the same time frame.
However, for Limerick Minor Camogie manager Kevin Connolly, the news comes as a bitter blow to his side who started therr championship campaign in February.
Speaking in the wake of the announcement, Connolly said,
“To have this taken away in this manner, it’s really upsetting to be honest.
“Sickener doesn’t really describe it. Anger, frustration, just a real lack of clarity.
“It’s hard to see why players would play camogie if they’re going to be treated like this.”
