LISTEN: “The team is on an upward trajectory” Billy Lee talks ahead of Derry visit

After starting the League with consecutive wins, Limerick have lost back-to-back games in Division 4 of the National League.

The latest defeat at the hands of Leitrim was positive from a Limerick point of view with plenty to work on for Lee and his side.

“It was certainly a game that we created enough opportunities to win the game but unfortunately we didn’t take them.”

Lee is hoping to build on these performances with so much positives to take from the first four encounters.

With such a young team at his disposal, the manager is looking for his side to learn from each of their lessons.

“You’ll take a lot of hard marks on the way, its about absorbing them and keep going back with a stronger chin so to speak.”

“Keep pushing and pushing and when the opportunity arises kick down that door and go through it.”
