LISTEN: Treaty Talk S02E22 with Sporting Limerick and Matt O’Callaghan

This week we look ahead to the meeting of Limerick and Carlow at a dry and dusty Dr Cullen Park as the sides bid to make it through to an All Ireland quarter final. Limerick are 1-66 while Carlow are priced at 16-1 giving some indication of the level of expectation on John Kiely’s side to make it through.

We examine the team selection and look at where Limerick should have the upper hand over the Joe McDonagh winners. Antóin Power’s minor side will be looking to make up for last weekend’s disappointing  Munster Final loss as they take on Galway in a curtain raiser to the Leinster final replay in Thurles with the  winner going through to an All Ireland semi final while the loser will face Kilkenny next weekend with the same prize on offer.

All that plus a look back at the camogie and a quick fire preview of some of the big football action over the weekend as the last round of qualifiers will determine the make up of the firs ever Super 8 groups.
