LISTEN: “We didn’t do ourselves justice against Carlow” – Ryan

Limerick’s ladies footballers will be looking to bounce back from a defeat last time out when they travel to Fermanagh on Sunday.

John Ryan’s side suffered a one point loss to Carlow and is hoping that they have learned from that defeat ahead of their trip up north.

“I think you learn more maybe from a defeat than you do for a win. We met last Saturday for a video analysis of the game and we had to ask questions of ourselves as management and the players as well.

“It’s maybe a wake up call. Sometimes a loss like that can be a good thing when you look back on it going down the road.

“We have to respond this weekend. I’m looking for a good performance. They are going well and will be very hard to beat.”
