Mixed bag for Limerick sides in latest round of Basketball Leagues | Basketball Update

The Limerick Sport Eagles picked up a win in the Men’s division, as did the Sport Huskies in the Women’s division, but there were losses for both Celtics teams.

Two of the four Limerick basketball sides in action in the National Leagues picked up victories over the weekend, continuing what has been a promising start to the season.

In the InsureMyVan.ie Division One, Limerick Sport Eagles picked up a 17-point win over Titans SETU Waterford Vikings, while Limerick Celtics fell to a 13-point loss away to Scotts Lakers Killarney.

In the MissQuote.ie Division One, the Celtics women’s team also tasted defeat, losing away to iSecure Swords Thunder, but it was victory for the Sport Huskies, who powered past Templeogue in Limerick.
